The NDGGA was formed in 2006 with the purpose of promoting the art and science of viticulture in North Dakota. These goals will be accomplished by

·          supporting research that adds to the scientific knowledge about viticulture and related horticultural issues

·          providing community education and support services for people involved in viticulture

·          informing the public about viticulture in North Dakota

·          advocating the interests of, and enlisting the support, participation, and involvement of, people involved in viticulture

·          collaborating with other groups or organizations where appropriate to further the purpose.
